Sipadan, Malaysia's only oceanic island is rated as one of the world's top five wall dives. It is an extremely popular dive site amongst divers nowadays. The turquoise water of the shallow turns a deep indigo as the drop-off plunges a sheer 2,000 feet to the bottom of the Celebes Sea, a mere 20 feet from the shore. Immeasurable abundance of marine life found here includes schools of jacks and barracudas, green and hawksbill turtles, hammerhead sharks and millions of technicolored reef fish amongst enchanting corals.

Mabul Island, which is about 30 minutes boat ride from Sipadan, is the perfect destination for macro-photography enthusiasts and divers alike. Its underwater scene unveils an endless myriad of fish and spectacular corals. Apart form the three daily boat dives, unlimited shore diving also awaits.

Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park is a cluster of islands comprising Sapi Island, Gaya Island, Manukan Island, Mamutik Island and Sulug Island; all located only 15 to 20 minutes speedboat ride away from Kota Kinabalu City.
